Description

This is a decorative garden urn located approximately 6 meters south of the southeast corner of Painswick House. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The urn is large and features intricate carvings of putti, standing on a square pedestal that has fielded panels, a moulded base, and a cornice. The overall height of the urn is about 2.75 meters. There is a similar urn located about 30 meters west of The Stables.
