Description

No. 2 Church Place is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed rubble with a pitched stone roof and ashlar chimneys. The structure has two storeys and attics, featuring five ranges of mullioned casement windows, each with hoodmoulds. There are also five attic dormers with casement windows. To the north, there is a one-storey extension with a lean-to roof and a planked door. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Church Place, which includes Rose Cottage, Church Cottage, the raised pavement, and the retaining wall to the Churchyard in Walkley Hill.
