Description

The ornamental garden feature with a seat located to the south of Bannut Tree Chapel is likely of medieval origin, constructed from fragments believed to have come from either Horsely church or Amberley church. It has a hexagonal base that includes a quatre-foil panel. Among the fragments, there is a cusped tracery head with a ball finial positioned behind, along with various carved stones, some of which are partly arranged to form a seat.
