Description
The Mount is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands two and two and a half storeys tall, constructed of rubble with a roof that is partly stone tiled and partly covered with plain tiles. The building features a half-nipped gable end and has two gabled chimneys on each side. The windows are irregular 19th-century casements, and there is a glazed conservatory porch on the ground floor. To the east, there is a projecting mid-19th-century wing that includes a range of three-light casements and a two-light window on the first floor, with a door in the gable end. The garden front displays two ranges of glazing bar sash windows set in arched recesses on the ground floor, along with a three-light attic window. Inside, there is a stone staircase with plain balusters dating from around 1800.
