Description
Hillside Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It features coursed and dressed limestone construction, ashlar chimneys, and a concrete tile roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic.
The front of the farmhouse has a three-window arrangement, with all windows being 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements that include hoodmoulds and leaded iron casements. To the left of the centre, there is a doorway with a moulded opening, which contains a four-panel door and a gabled porch addition. To the right, there is a plain doorway with a plank door. The gable ends have chimneys with moulded caps.
On the south-west end, there is a single-window arrangement, with all windows being 2-light, although the upper floor window is blocked. The north-east end features stone steps leading to an upper floor doorway, which has a small attic light above it. At the rear, there is a gabled projection with a cross-window on the upper floor, and a gable-mounted chimney above an outshut with a catslide roof. The interior has not been inspected.
