Description

This is an early 19th-century building of two ranges, situated on London Road. It is constructed of hammerdressed stone and stands three storeys high, featuring a stringcourse above the ground floor. The building has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, although one ground-floor window has been replaced with a modern canted bay. A six-panel door is complemented by an oblong fanlight. An oval sundial is affixed to an elaborate corbel. The building forms a group with Nos 10 to 14 and Nos 38 to 43 on the opposite side of the road, demonstrating group value.
