Description

Rose Cottages, located on Farr's Lane, date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble and feature a pitched slate roof with brick chimneys. They are two storeys high, with the exception of No. 3, which has one storey and an attic. Each cottage has one range of casement windows, while No. 2 has mullioned windows with lead glazing bars. There are also two attic dormers with casements. Additionally, there is a Liverpool and possibly London Fire Insurance Badge dated 1836.
