Nelson House is an 18th-century stone building located on the south side of Nelson Street. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a hipped and sprocketed Welsh slate roof and a coved eaves cornice. The building has two ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Nelson House, together with numbers 11 to 15, forms a group.
