Description

This is an unidentified headstone located approximately 20 meters north of the tower in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and is made of limestone. The stone features deeply carved embellishments, including the head of a cherub that breaks through the top of the stone, creating an irregular profile, along with swags. The design is of above average quality for the churchyard, although it is somewhat isolated. The inscription is not legible.
