Description
West Wickham is an early 19th-century house attached to Wickham Grange. It is constructed of ashlar limestone with an ashlar chimney and a concrete tile roof. The building is two stories high and features a front with three-window fenestration, all of which have chamfered mullions. There are two narrow offset buttresses between the windows. The upper floor has three-light casements with a plain band above, while the larger central ground floor casement has four lights and a hoodmould that extends over the buttresses. To the left, there is a three-light window, and to the right, a two-light window and a doorway with a 20th-century six-panel door. The moulded parapet coping rises at the junction with Wickham Grange on the right. The west end gable has two oval windows. There is a 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed addition to the west that is not of special interest. The rear of the house has two buttresses and two blocked upper floor door openings, one of which has stone steps. The interior has not been inspected, but it is likely that the house was originally built as a weaver's house.
