Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb dating from the early 18th century, located approximately 7 meters south-west of the south-west corner of the Church of St Giles in Uley. The tomb is made of limestone and features a thick cyma top and a cavetto base. It has lyre ends adorned with cartouches, square inscription panels with raised moulding, and side panels on the north and south. It is situated about 2 meters south-west of a memorial that has a very similar design.
