Description
The stables and pigeon loft, located approximately 50 meters south of Bencombe House, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The building has a narrow block shape with a square pigeon loft that projects centrally on the west side, forming a T-plan with internal corners that were fitted for a later building. It is a single storey structure with two small windows and a stable door, while pigeon openings are present in the north gable, facing the house. The pigeon loft is made of limewashed rubble and includes a square glazed turret topped with a wind-vane. There are slated extensions on the left side, and the original stable part still retains its stalls.
