Description

This is a mid-19th century facade applied to buildings that date back to the 16th or 17th centuries, extending as far as Threadneedle Street. The front is constructed of hammerdressed rubble, rendered smooth. The building is three storeys high, with a wooden eaves cornice. It features a single double-hung sash window on the second floor, a canted bay window on the first floor, and a modern shopfront at ground level.

At the rear, a pitched tile roof with sprocketing is visible. A range of stone mullioned windows, each with a hoodmould, is present; on the first floor, there are three flush-framed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, along with three more double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and two blocked windows. The ground floor features a row of arcaded openings, a door with chamfered surrounds, and some modern openings.
