Description

Old Church Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with additions and alterations from the mid-19th century. It features random rubble limestone with ashlar dressings and has ashlar chimneys topped by a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high, with an attic, and includes a single-storey rear wing that also has an attic.

The front of the farmhouse has two windows, all of which are timber casements with timber lintels. There is a central doorway that is topped by a 19th-century timber-framed porch hood supported by brackets, leading to a six-panel door. A gabled roof dormer is located off-centre and features a small-paned casement window. The north end of the building has a gable with 19th-century coping and kneelers, and it includes single-window off-centre casement fenestration with timber lintels.

At the rear, there is a projecting parapet chimney gable to the right, with a chimney that has a moulded ashlar shaft. The wing attached to the left has a lean-to on its north side covered by a pantile roof, and it features 19th-century casements as well as an ashlar chimney at the gable end. The south end has a gable with 19th-century coping and kneelers, and it includes a single off-centre chamfered fixed light. The interior has not been inspected.
