Description

Two adjoining small cottages, likely dating from the early 17th century, are located in Colethrop. They are constructed with square panel timber framing, featuring painted brick infill on a stone plinth. The roof is thatched, with a decorative ridge. A dressed stone stack with a moulded cornice is situated at the right end, and a brick end stack on a stone base is on the left. The cottages are a single range with a small, single-storey 20th-century extension to the right. They are single-storey with an attic, featuring two eyebrow dormers. The central dormer has two four-pane casements, and a smaller, plain two-light casement is to the right. Similar small two-light windows are present on the ground floor of each cottage. The entrances are located at the rear.
