Description
No 1 Springhill Cottages is a former row of three cottages that has been converted into a single house. It likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick, featuring stone quoins on the left side and a chamfered brick plinth. It has a tiled roof with a brick stack at the left end and a small front lateral brick stack next to a small gabled dormer. The structure consists of a single front range, with a rebuilt lean-to on the left, a small central rear wing, and a single-storey lean-to on the right that is built around an external brick stack. The house is two storeys tall, and all the windows and doors are from the 20th century.
