Description

The Mosley Monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard approximately 20 meters east-north-east of the chancel of the Church of St. Cyr. It dates from 1752 and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape, featuring fielded panels on the ends and sides. It has a cyma moulded top with a domical capping and a cavetto moulded base. The monument is inscribed to Elizabeth, the wife of John Mosley, who died in 1752.
