Description
Ram House, located approximately 30 meters southeast of the plunge pool, is a Grade II* listed structure dating from around 1750, possibly designed by Thomas Robins. It is constructed of limestone and brick and features a small circular shape with a brick saucer dome, most of which is now buried underground. The entrance is accessed by steps flanked by ramped sides. This structure may be the remnants of a more prominent conduit house depicted in Thomas Robins' 1748 drawing of the garden layout. Despite being mostly concealed by earth, it remains an important part of a significant surviving rococo ensemble.
