Description
This is a group of three monuments located in the churchyard approximately 15 metres south of the porch to the Church of All Saints in Bisley Village. They date from the late 17th century to the mid-18th century and are made of limestone. The group includes one ledger slab and two chest tombs. The ledger slab features brass plates, including one with a shaped top by Cook of Minchinhampton, inscribed to William Winn of Brown's Hill, a clothier who died in 1758. The two chest tombs are both lyre-ended; one is somewhat weathered and sunken, while the other has finely carved end cartouches and fielded inscription panels, which are flanked by delicate scroll carvings. The inscriptions on the chest tombs are illegible.
