Description
The Haywain, located on Barn Close, is a building that dates from the early 18th century and has undergone alterations in the early 19th century. It consists of part of an extension to the house, which is two and a half storeys tall, and part that was converted from stables, which is one and a half storeys high. The structure is built from rubble and features a stone tile roof. On the right side, there is an attic gable with two ranges of windows that have wooden cross casements and replica drips. The one and a half storey section includes a door, a hipped dormer, and a square bay on the ground floor.
