Description

The Cottage is an early 19th-century house, part of a row. It is constructed of squared and coursed limestone with a concrete tile roof. The building may incorporate earlier elements. A brick stack is positioned centrally behind the roof ridge. The house has two storeys and features two 12-pane sash windows on the upper floor. The ground floor has a large plate-glass tripartite sash window and a six-panel door with a transom light. A moulded, 'floating' cornice runs along the top of the façade. The building is listed primarily for its group value.
