Description
The Fisher and Cambridge family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately 6 meters southwest of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Minchinhampton. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone with brass plates. The tomb is a high rectangular shape featuring fielded panels and moulded strips on the outer parts of its sides. It has a thick cyma moulded top and base. The original inscriptions on the tomb are no longer legible, but two brass plates have been added: one commemorates John Fisher, who died in 1848, and the other honors Stephen Cambridge, who died in 1823.
