Description

The urn located approximately 30 meters west of the stable block at Painswick House is a decorative garden feature from the 18th century. Made of limestone, it is a large carved urn adorned with putti, standing on a square pedestal that has fielded panels, a moulded base, and a cornice. The overall height of the urn is about 2.75 meters. This urn is similar to another urn found at the southeast corner of Painswick House.
