2, College Green

No. 2 College Green is a house that has been converted into offices. It was originally built in 1665 but was significantly remodeled or rebuilt around 1820. The building is constructed of brick and has a stuccoed front with a slate roof. It features a double-depth block and a small enclosed yard at the rear.

The exterior of the building is three storeys high and has a symmetrical front. It is adorned with pilaster strips at either end, a raised band at the first-floor level, a crowning cornice over a frieze band, and a parapet. The ground floor has a central arched entrance doorway framed in a plain architrave. On either side of the doorway, there are large, single-storey canted bay windows with sash frames. Each sash has a single vertical glazing bar in the lower frame, with glazing bars arranged in a 4x2 pane configuration for the front sash and a 3x2 pane configuration for the side sashes. On the upper floors, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, each arranged in a 3x4 pane configuration, set in openings with projecting stone sills. The interior has not been inspected.
