Description

This is an early 19th-century house situated at the end of a terrace. It is built of stuccoed brick, with a slate roof and a brick stack on the party wall. The house is double-depth and includes a rear wing.

The exterior presents a symmetrical front of three bays, with a moulded cornice and a coped parapet. A central entrance doorway is approached by a flight of stone steps with wrought-iron railing balustrades. The doorway has a rectangular fanlight with margin glazing bars and a six-panel door with the upper four panels fielded. On the ground floor, flanking the doorway, are two sash windows. Above, on each of the upper floors, are two sashes on either side of a central, blocked window recess of the same size. All the sashes have glazing bars arranged in a 3x4 pane pattern, and the openings are framed by architraves and projecting sills. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
