Description

The Madley memorial is a chest tomb located about 8 metres south of the south porch in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints. It commemorates the Madley family, with the earliest inscription dedicated to James Madley, who died in 1809. The tomb is made of sandstone and features a tent top, moulded capping, and a tall plinth on a base. It is adorned with long gadrooned quarter balusters and has oval panels, each inscribed and decorated with oval rosettes in the corners.
