Description

The Haddock memorial is a chest tomb located next to the Jordan memorial in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in English Bicknor. It commemorates William Haddock, who died in 1778. The tomb is made of sandstone and features a flat top. Most of the decoration and inscription have worn away, with only the inscription on the north long side remaining visible. At the time of the survey on June 11, 1984, the tomb was partially overgrown and sinking on the northern side.
