Description
The Hill Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 1 meter north of the northeast corner of the vestry wing of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The tomb features a thick, flat lid with a moulded edge and quarter-square corner balusters adorned with acanthus decoration just below the capital. The north side has a fielded panel with segmental ends, while the south side is plain with a sunk line along the edge. The ends also have fielded panels and a moulded base. The south face is weathered, and only the name "Hill" is legible.
