Description
The Warn monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 8 meters along the path to the south from the south chancel porch of the Church of St. Mary. It commemorates Edmund Warn, who died in 1779, and is made of stone. The lid is slightly weathered and features a moulded edge, while the sides are plain with a slightly recessed narrow margin and egg and dart moulding. The corners are adorned with quarter-square corner balusters. The west end of the tomb has an urn with a pineapple top, while the east end is plain. The base is moulded, and the lettering on the monument is well-preserved.
