Description

This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 1 metre south of the Browne memorial in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It features a sandstone capping and a limestone base. The tomb has a flat top with indented corners and deep hollow moulded capping, along with gadrooned quarter balusters and a moulded plinth. The end panels are plain, while the north side is very weathered. The south side displays an elaborately carved cartouche within a rectangular panel.
