Description

Naas Court is a manor house, now used as a farmhouse, dating from the 16th century. It has undergone significant alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed from sandstone rubble with a double Roman tile roof, featuring two gable stacks. The layout is L-shaped, with a gabled projecting wing attached to the left side. This wing, likely originally a granary or dairy, is two storeys high, currently derelict, and features simple chamfered beams that are heavily overgrown. The main block is two storeys high and has three windows. It contains a mix of 19th and 20th century sash windows, a pair of 20th-century glazed doors, and a first-floor central window that is a 3-light stone casement. The casement is in a Tudor style with Tudor Rose stops, moulded mullions, 4-centre heads to the individual lights, and a square label. The interior of the house contains nothing of particular significance.
