Description
The cross at the junction of Church Street and High Street is a medieval structure with a base and a shaft created by John Middleton around 1866. It features five square stone steps that are supported by iron ties, leading up to a tall square base that is divided into two tiers. This base is much eroded and has been repaired, displaying remnants of carving and corner columns. The shaft is chamfered.
