Description
Cross House is an 18th-century house located opposite the Cross in Newland Clearwell. It is a single-range building constructed from coursed and dressed rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and two stone end stacks. A coved eaves cornice with brackets runs along the roofline. The house has two storeys and five windows, which are glazing bar sashes with stone voussoirs and keystones. A 20th-century door is centrally positioned, with a wide gabled porch hood above.
