Description
Pool House is a house built in the second quarter of the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a slate roof. The building is L-shaped and features three windows across its two-storey facade. The ground floor has four-pane wide sash windows, which are adorned with stepped voussoirs and a projecting keystone, while the first-floor windows have rendered lintels.
The front door is located just to the right of the centre and has a semi-circular head with a fanlight that includes radiating glazing bars. The door itself is a six-panel design, with four fielded panels and the bottom two being flush. There is a vertical joint in the wall to the left of the front door, and the window above the door has been built up.
On the left gable, there is a chimney, and on the right hip, the roof extends back on the return wing, with the ridge being higher than the front. It is noted that the front parapet has been reported as removed. The right-hand return features two brick chimneys and a tall central staircase window, which has marginal light carried around its head. The central glazing bar is split to create Y tracery.
