Description

The Old Court House is a dwelling located on the east side of Aylburton High Street. It possibly dates back to the 16th century but has been significantly modified in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered and features a double Roman tile roof, with some tiles glazed. It has a hipped end and a very steep roof with two gable stacks. The structure is L-shaped with a plain gable facing the street. It stands 2½ storeys tall and includes various casement windows, along with a 20th-century part-glazed door on the north-facing facade to the left. Although it has undergone many alterations, the building's form and name indicate that it is an old structure of significance.
