Description
Turner's is a detached house dating from the 18th century, with an addition from the late 19th or early 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed rubble limestone and features dressed windows, ashlar chimneys with moulded caps, and a stone-slate roof. It is two stories high with an attic, featuring a central hall and one room on either side, with an additional room added at the east end and a 20th-century extension at the back.
The front facade has three windows and an off-centre doorway with a timber lintel and a six-panel door. There are two-light chamfered mullioned windows on either side of the doorway, which do not have hoodmoulds, and two-light windows above. To the right, there are timber casements with artificial stone lintels, and a central roof dormer is present. The east gable end has one off-centre window on each floor, both of which are metal casements with timber lintels, and the exposed purlins are visible above. The building occupies a very important position as it serves as a view-closer to the main street in Duntisbourne Leer.
