Description
No. 22 is a small detached house located in Duntisbourne Leer, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and features a stone-slate roof with a red brick chimney. The house has a two-room plan and is two stories tall, with a single-storey outshut at the upper end.
The front of the house has two windows and a central doorway, all of which are timber casements with timber lintels. The doorway has a timber lintel and a vertical plank door. There is a small blocked two-light window on the upper floor in the gable at the lower end, which has trefoil heads and may have been salvaged from Nutbeam Farmhouse. The exposed purlin ends have been rendered over.
At the upper end, there is a partly hipped lean-to roof, with a doorway at the front of the lean-to that has a timber lintel and a vertical plank door. The back of the house features scattered fenestration, including one casement that blocks a former doorway, along with two other windows that have concrete lintels.
