Description

Old Fox House is a former public house, now a house within a terrace, dating from the early 18th century. The building's facade is roughcast, with a Cotswold stone slate roof and two brick gable stacks. It is an L-shaped range with a rear extension. The house has three stories and two windows spaced widely apart. The ground and first floors have 16-pane sash windows, while the second floor has a 9-pane sash. A central four-panel door is set in a plain reveal and raised one step. A two-story wing, originally a stable and now a garage, extends to the left. The interior preserves a large fireplace with a wood bressumer and a 19th-century curved wooden settle with a ceiling.
