Description
There are two monuments located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 14 metres north of the east end of the north aisle. These are a pair of headstones from the 18th century, made of limestone. The left-hand headstone features a circular inscription plaque that is draped with a swag and has a winged cherub's head at the top, although there is no legible inscription. The right-hand headstone, also made of limestone, has an inscription dated 1703. It includes a sunken oval panel with hanging drapery on either side of the swag and a triangular pediment with paired brackets above it.
