Description
The Post Office at Rose Row in Upper Slaughter consists of two continuous rows of three cottages, built around 1900. These cottages are constructed from rubble and feature Cotswold stone roofs with large ridge stacks, which extend to the northeast of No 1. They exhibit a simple local architectural style, comprising one storey with attics. Each row has three Cotswold dormer gables and features 2-light mullioned windows, with one window per cottage, except for the Post Office, which includes the former Nos 5 and 6. The doorways are ledged and have flat arches. Notably, No 5 contains a reused datestone from 1780. The building is included for its group value.
