Description

This mid-19th century schoolhouse is constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped by a Cotswold stone roof. It is built in a Tudor-Gothic style and has an L-shaped layout. Large windows with two lights are present on the road frontage and to the north, featuring moulded heads and incorporating a small quatrefoil detail; these windows also have dripmoulds. A small, corbelled bellcote with a trefoil head is set into the wall face. A lean-to addition extends to the right of the entrance, which includes a studded door. The building is listed for its group value.
