Description
Oakbeams is a semi-detached house dated 1787, as indicated by a plaque on the front. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble stone with alternating flush quoins and features a stone slate roof. The house has a stone end stack to the left, which includes an offset and moulded cornice.
The building has a single front range that is two storeys high with an attic and a small rear wing. There are two windows on each floor, featuring 3-light stone mullions with square hoodmoulds, likely dating from the 19th century. The central entrance has a 6-panel door, also with a square hoodmould, where the top two panels are glazed. Additionally, there are three large gabled dormers, which are original to the house, with paired casements in the center and 20th-century two-light windows on the left and right.
