Description

This is a detached house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar-faced rubble, with a roof of Cotswold stone slate and two stone gable stacks. The main block is a single range with a 19th-century outshut at the rear and a small wing to the left. The house has three storeys and originally had three windows on the front elevation, with the centre one now blocked. The ground floor windows are 4-pane sashes, and the second floor has three small square windows, the centre one also blocked and containing pigeonholes. Plat-bands are present below the sills of the first and second floors. A later 19th-century timber-boarded gabled porch has been added to the centre of the ground floor.
