Description
The stump of a cross shaft and its base are located in the churchyard of the Church of St Giles, approximately 5 meters southwest of the porch. This structure is possibly of Saxon origin. It features a square 20th-century concrete base. The base of the cross is carved from a single large block of tufa, square at the bottom, with the upper surface shaped into two concentric circles. The square cross shaft transitions to an octagonal form as it rises to a height of about 0.7 meters.
