Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Edward, approximately 5 metres south of the porch. It likely dates from around 1613. The tomb features an inscription in capital letters at the east end, surrounded by raised scroll decoration around the raised inscription panel. It is topped with a thick capping stone that has a moulded margin.
