2/58 The Clock House (No 3) and No 4, Brockhampton Mews, 30.4.79 Brockhampton Park GV II

Former stableblock now converted into two houses. Probably C19. Coursed squared and finely dressed limestone and artificial stone, stone slate roof. 'L'-shaped plan. Central axial weather-boarded clock tower with clock faces on all four sides to The Clock House. The Clock House; single storey, two original 2-light stone mullioned casements, without glazing bars. Two blocked double width openings towards rights, one with C20 bull's-eye window (far right). Blocked entrance between two 2-light casements left. C20 sky-lights. No 4; two storeys. Irregular fenestration; two C20 two-light casements to first floor, two similar windows to ground floor all with concrete lintels. C20 six-panel door off-centre left with plate glass window right. Single C20 sky-light. Saddleback gable end coping and pointed finials to The Clock House. Clock faces on all 4 sides of clock tower with pyramidal roof. Interiors not inspected.
