Description

This is an 18th-century pigsty located approximately 20 meters northeast of Duntisbourne Leer Farm. It is constructed from random rubble limestone and features a stone-slate roof. The yard extends forward from the gable end and includes an off-centre doorway with a timber lintel. The stone walls of the yard have a built-in stone feeding trough, which is covered by a stone slab. There is a step up into the yard and another step leading into the house. The pigsty has exposed purlin ends in both gables, and there is a small high-level opening at the back end, also with a timber lintel.
