Description

Draycott Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse. It is built of coursed and squared rubble with a false Cotswold stone roof to the front, and a real roof to the rear. The verges are coped, and the end chimneys are made of ashlar with square stacks. The farmhouse has four windows on the ground floor, each of three lights with transoms and drips. The central doorpiece has a bolection surround and a pediment, with a tympanum inscribed "T F (Reeman)" above the date "1704," and retains its original door.

A long extension was added to the rear of the farmhouse in the early to mid-19th century. The front garden is enclosed by low walls constructed of ashlar and rubble, approximately 3 feet 6 inches high, with ridged capping. There are low, monolithic gate piers with ball finials.
