Description
These are an early 18th-century row of Cotswold cottages built in a mullion window style. The cottages are two storeys high with attics, constructed from coursed and squared rubble with Cotswold stone roofs. They have four gabled dormers. Three chimneys are made of ashlar, and one of brick. The windows are arranged in a 3:1:1 pattern, with 2- and 3-light mullion windows; the first-floor windows on the right-hand side are smaller and positioned off-centre. The right-hand cottage features a drip stone above the ground-floor windows and door, with a door surround that has a high-stop-chamfered design (a hollow chamfer within a rebated surround), and a beaded door, which appears to be from the early 20th century. A thickened wall is located between the two right-hand windows. The west gable end has mullion windows, including one in the attic. The rear of the cottages includes a gable with timbering and lattice casements which appear to be early 20th century.
