Description

No. 20 Church Street is a small house in a terrace, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubblestone on a plinth and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with a stone stack on the right side. The building has two storeys and an attic. On the upper floor, there is one window, which is a 6-pane sash with a moulded wood architrave and a stone sill. Below, there is a similar renewed window set in a large recess with a wooden lintel. To the left of the window, there is a doorway, which may have originally been a throughway, featuring an original door made of wide studded planks held by two strap hinges.
